Who are we...

Ellie Barton

Founder and Therapist

Ellie is an experienced Neuro-developmental Therapist who has always worked holistically. Starting her career in paediatrics in 2008 at NHS Medway. Working in a team where interdisciplinary working was championed. She has enjoyed working in the NHS and independently. Her current approach has been most strongly influenced by all she learned, working and teaching with Jean Pierre Maes at MAES Therapy (focussing on development and coordination with a long-term view). She is also Bobath and Ayres Sensory Integration trained and recently became trained in VERVE child interaction therapy (supporting self-regulation to develop learning).

Ellie is also an accredited EFT practitioner and has found this an invaluable tool for her own personal journey as well as using it to support families and children. She home schools, alongside her husband who is a childminder, her own secondary school aged boys and has a little girl who is a preschooler.

Ellie is on the London committee for the Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists and enjoys organising learning and educational opportunities for her peers and attending conferences.

Ellie guest lectures at the University of East London and in her spare time volunteers as the Newham Woodcraft Pioneer Leader for children aged between 10-12years.

Zorana Klaric

Co-founder and Therapist

Zoranas was drawn to work with children and young adults as soon as she finished University in 2003, where she studied to become a physiotherapist. She found that being in the presence of children, connecting with them, meeting them on their path of potential and helping them learn, transform and thrive is her calling.

The children Zorana works with have neurodevelopmental, coordination and/or interaction challenges.

Over the years shes taken training in Bobath therapy, but has been most strongly influenced by working with and learning from Jean-Pierre Maes, using MAES therapy principles and philosophy in her work today.

Parallel to growing the experience as a physiotherapist and working with the body and mind, Zorana felt guided to know more about what life is like beyond the surfaceand trained in Reiki in 2021. Reiki helped her find stillness in herself, deepen the intuition and understand better the connection between the physical and non-physical and develop even more meaningful relationship with the children she works with.

Zorana lives in Wanstead with her husband and two young children.
